The Brick Invitational Hockey Tournament stands as one of the most prestigious amateur hockey events in the world, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience for elite 10-year-old players. With only 14 chartered programs invited annually, this tournament represents the pinnacle of youth hockey competition. In 2025, Carmine Franco will be among the dedicated athletes competing in Edmonton, battling on the legendary rink inside West Edmonton Mall.
Brick Tournament and Junior Bruins Legacy Since 2011, the Junior Bruins have been one of the select programs granted a Brick charter, placing them in elite company among youth hockey organizations. Renowned for developing top-tier talent, the Bruins have graduated more players to NCAA Division I programs than any other midget/junior program on the East Coast. Their alumni have competed at every Hockey East and ECAC school, as well as in other Division I leagues. Many former Bruins have advanced to the US National Team Development Program (USNTDP), the Olympics, and the NHL.
